Symantec Recovery Disk ISO

BURNING THE SYMANTEC RECOVERY DISK ISO FILE TO A CD/DVD
**************************************************************
To burn the Symantec Recovery Disk (.iso) file to a CD/DVD, you need the 
following:

- One blank CD/DVD-R disc. 
  Do not use a CD/DVD-RW disc.

- The SRD .iso file, downloaded from the Symantec Web site.

- A CD/DVD creation program capable of burning .iso files to a CD/DVD
  such as GEAR PRO Professional Edition, Nero Burning ROM, or
  Easy CD Creator. 

  If you do not have a CD/DVD burning program installed on your
  computer, you can download and install the following free ISO
  CD/DVD burning utility (English only) from GEAR Software:

If you are not familiar with creating CDs/DVDs from .iso files, 
refer to the documentation included with the software.

The standard Windows Copy feature is not capable of 
burning a .iso file to a CD/DVD.

After the .iso file is burned to CD/DVD, the CD/DVD then serves as a
bootable copy of Symantec Recovery Disk.
